We could see Barca play their B team against Juventus at Camp Nou if everything goes well.
UEFA have finally confirmed the dates of the Champions League group stage matches. Here they come:
Matchday 1 — Barcelona vs Ferencvaros — October 20
Matchday 2 — Juventus vs Barcelona — October 28
Matchday 3 — Barcelona vs Dynamo Kyiv — November 4
Matchday 4 — Dynamo Kyiv vs Barcelona — November 24
Matchday 5 — Ferencvaros vs Barcelona — December 2
Matchday 6 — Barcelona vs Juventus — December 8
The Catalans get a relatively easy start as they are to host competition debutants Ferencvaros. If Barcelona win most of their games up to Matchday 6 and secure their place in the knock-out stage, we might see Ronald Koeman give some minutes to the irregular starters in the return game against Juve.
So, after all, it might be that we witness only one Leo Messi vs Cristiano Ronaldo duel this season.
