Manchester United target Jadon Sancho adds more fuel to the fire over his potential transfer to England after enlightening the world on who he thinks is the most skillful player he's ever played with.
In an interview with Pro:Direct Soccer Jadon Sancho was asked who he thought was the most skillfull player he's played with. His answer? Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.
The two players have played together on a number of occassions for National team, England. However, could Sancho be looking to make their playing time together a more regular feature?
The transfer saga of Sancho to Manchester United has been blowing hot and cold all summer, but United are still interested - and with Sancho stoking the fire, he's clearly also interested in the move.
United will need to move fast though as time is running out. Just over 10 days left in this summer's transfer window.
Various tier one journalists are saying that the deal isn't dead yet with Sancho remaining United's No.1 priority. The issue remains the transfer fee with plenty of explanations as to why the transfer is being constantly delayed.
Some say United are negotiating the finer details to save as much as possible. Others are suggesting United need to sell to release the funds to have the budget. On a similar vein, United are over-budget regarding wages and can't afford Sancho's wage demands - therefore, they need to sell to free up the wage budget.
The trouble is, no one is willing to buy the players and the players aren't willing to take a pay cut to leave. Smalling is the closest to leaving but even that deal is stagnating.
Personally, I think it's good news Sancho is public about a Manchester United player. It keeps the pressure on the board to complete the transfer and keeps the hope alive for the fans - including yours truly.
This is one transfer that simply HAS to happen!
10 days left - We'll find out either way... SOON!
