Kaveh has said that Dembele, who is valued at €100m, wants a move to Man United and will be allowed to leave Lyon. He wrote on Sky Sports:
“Man United will sign a centre-forward in the summer and Lyon’s Moussa Dembele wants to move to Theatre of Dreams.
The 23-year-old centre-forward will be allowed to leave Lyon at the end of the campaign, and he wants to come back to England where he started his career at Fulham.
“Dembele has scored 13 times this campaign and injuries to key figures meant Lyon were unwilling to let him leave in winter.
They also wanted to keep him because they are still in the UCL and face Juventus next Wednesday.
Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas will let the French centre-forward leave in the summer, but he will have to settle for less than his €100m asking price.”
Provided Moussa joins Man United, he’ll return to England, having spent a few campaigns at Fulham during which, he netted 19 goals in 64 games across all tournaments.
The French star also featured in two Premier League games with West Ham United and Everton back during the 2013/14 campaign.
