Lyon midfielder, Houssem Aouar, has agreed to personal terms with Arsenal.
The Gunners will now hold discussions with Lyon over a fee for Aouar, according to Téléfoot Chaine.
This is coming a few days ahead of Arsenal’s Premier League clash with Liverpool on Monday.
Aouar had emerged as Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta’s top target this summer.
The 22-year-old enjoyed an impressive campaign for Lyon last season, leading to interest from Arsenal, Juventus and Manchester City.
Lyon are expected to demand around £50million for Aouar.
